Mississippi Kite

I have been trying to take a photo of this raptor, for a long time.  Today one had landed way out on a dead tree!

It flew from this tree, and landed on a tree even closer to me,

still far but closer!!!

A beautiful bird.

So exciting I see them flying all the time, but never perched on a tree.

So that I can photograph them.
