Freestone County Museum

Elder Gibson let me choose an activity today.  So after all our work that we needed to get done this morning, we headed to Fairfield, TX,  Freestone County Museum.

and moved to the site.

Carter Log Home

Style is called a Dog Trot
because a dog can run all the way around the house.

Carter family had this home for over 100 years.
They never had running water of electricity.
donated it to the county museum.
